Designing and fabricating fine jewelry has become second nature to me over the years. I work with all precious metals and colored gems of all kinds, creating one-of-a-kind pieces, most of them commissioned by customers here and abroad. I love the fact that the earth produces such marvels like silver and gold and gems in amazing colors. It makes me happy to showcase those treasures in a way that someone else can wear and enjoy and add yet another dimension with personal meaning to my one-of-a-kind pieces.
I also teach jewelry making, although not during a Pandemic, I paint originals in pastel or oils and have greeting cards printed of all my art work, including some of my jewelry pieces. You can purchase cards and prints of all kinds and sizes from my other websites. 1-marieclaire-dole.artistes.com and 1-marieclaire-dole.pixel.com
I am a native of the French part of Switzerland and graduated from L’Ecole d’art appliqué of La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland as a professional goldsmith in 1979.
Then, I worked as a goldsmith in Geneva Switzerland for Patek Philippe, later on at Bucherer in sales and did some custom designing, before moving to Mount Vernon, WA in 1985.
